A frightening motorcycle crash was caught on camera on U.S. 19 in Clearwater earlier this year.
Helmet cam video from the motorcyclist shows the wreck earlier this year. The driver can be seen taunting deputies, weaving inside and out of lanes, and dashing beyond traffic (along with law enforcement cars) before colliding with a 2003 Kia Optima looking to make a left-hand turn.
He was riding with a group of four other motorcyclists.
The motorcyclist is 21-year-old Ryan Decubellis. Unfortunately, he was thrown off the motorcycle upon impact and was taken to the sanatorium, where he was treated for critical injuries. Fortunately, he has been released from the clinic.
The driving force of the Kia turned into dealing with minor accidents.
