A crossdresser man pretending to be transgender allegedly murdered a 62-year-old female with the assistance of her daughter-in-law in Jaipur, police stated on Friday.
The police first zeroed in at the daughter-in-regulation, Priyanka Negi from Uttrakhand, who had married for the second time in Jaipur.
According to the police, the intruder entered through the principal door to rob the elderly lady, Beena Sharma, of jewelry and cash worth Rs 5 lakh.
Police found out that Priyanka had disappeared with the jewelry a year in the past, at the side of a tenant, Sunita, who claimed to be transgender. However, Priyanka’s husband persuaded her to come back, and Sunita turned into made to vacate her accommodation.
Since then, Beena maintained jewelry along with her daughter, but added it back domestically currently to wait for marriage.
Priyanka allegedly conspired with Sunita to kill and rob Beena. However, she left the front door open, and once Sunita entered internally, the two used a pillow to strangle Beena to death. After which, they stole the jewelry and fled.
