According to police, after hitting the bike, the truck driver didn’t apply brakes and dragged the 2-wheeler as much as 500 meters which had caught under its bonnet. The gasoline tank of the motorbike caught fire which additionally engulfed the truck.

Kashyap’s son Ajay, who turned inconsolable, stated that all the guests had arrived, and they were preparing for the ‘Mandha’ — a wedding ritual. “At 8 am, my father and Tej Ram left the residence to convey buttermilk for the guests from neighboring Bauapur village,” he said.
When they reached Manipur Chikitiya crossing, the rushing truck coming from Fatehpur East hit them. Superintendent of police (city) Abhinandan Singh stated, “We have seized the truck and launched a manhunt to nab the driving force.”

Farhat Naqvi, who runs an NGO, Mera Haq Foundation, has written to the Prime Minister’s Office with a plea that an unbiased inquiry be carried out in opposition to Aroha’s Didauli policemen for allegedly “harassing” Hasin Jahan, the spouse of cricketer Mohd Shami, on Sunday.
Jahan was arrested for allegedly causing a ruckus at Shami’s native residence on Sunday and was released on a non-bailable bond of Rs 3 lakh on Monday morning.
On Wednesday, following the grievance of Jahan towards the Didauli police, ADG (Bareilly Zone) had asked a circle officer in Rampur to probe her allegations.

Naqvi’s NGO enables triple domestic violence, talaq, and Shalala victims. She stated, “As Shami is the user of his clout, I have even asked the Prime Minister to ensure an independent probe into the problem and take suitable action. Besides, Jahan and I are in Allahabad to take legal opinion inside the court and, if the need arises, we may record testimony in the High Court.”
According to Jahan, on April 28, she, along with her three-and-a-half-year-old daughter and a maid, had arrived at her house in Sahaspur Ali Nagar village in Amroha. “I turned into staying in the portion of the house my husband had been given, constructed for me. After my in-laws informed my husband, the police arrived there around 8.30 pm and spoke to me. Later, I went to sleep, but police officers repeatedly knocked at the door around the middle of the night, forcing me to open it. They were abusive and misbehaved with me. Police officers dragged me out of the room and took my cell phone away. They took me to the police station. Police officers also woke up my daughter and maid and made them sit in another jeep. They first took us to Didauli police station and later shifted me to a sanatorium,” Jahan alleged.

A 60-year-old farmer was gored to death by a stray bull at his residence in the Bhutha area of Bareilly district on Friday morning. Victim Ram Raes Singh was feeding his cow within the courtyard of his residence when a stray bull attacked him. He is probably the third character to be attacked with the aid of the equal bull inside one week, citizens said.
Raes Singh’s death has yet again brought to the fore the risk posed by stray livestock. He is the second man to be killed by stray farm animals inside the district in the past month. Netram (50) was killed with the aid of a raging bull in the Aonla vicinity of the district on April 12.
Raes Singh’s brother, Nawab Singh, rushed to his rescue; however, earlier than he could be furnished with any clinical aid, the man was lifeless.
According to locals, a huge stray bull roaming around Almonipur and its adjoining villages has grown to be a menace for all. On Wednesday, it attacked Ram Jatav while working in his area, and on Monday, the identical animal injured farmer Ram Chandra Yadav.
Villagers had raised the difficulty at a gram panchayat assembly. However, no decision was made on tackling the menace. On Friday morning, the same bull charged at Ram Raes and killed him.
After getting the statistics, neighborhood police officers arrived on the spot and attempted to trap the bull but is charged at them, sending them scurrying for cover. The rescue operation changed into called off.

Nawab Singh informed TOI, “We are yet to receive any help from the district management in tackling the stray livestock menace in our area. They spoil our plants and injure people. The bull that killed my brother is extremely dangerous and might attack someone else. It needs to be trapped quickly.”
SHO, Bhutha police station, Virendra Singh Rana, stated, “We have sent the body for an autopsy. The autopsy record will be needed for sanctioning reimbursement in this situation.”
